I wrote this on Saturday, but never actually got to posting it:
Well, the leaves are changing color and the temperature is dropping. The chilly weather is coming, slowly but surely.. If only it snowed in Florida! It would be a lot more enjoyable if we were able to have some white powder or snowflakes to look at while defrosting our toes... Anyways, it's always nice to have a little something to warm your insides; in this case, Hot Chocolate. :) I decided to try something new so I mixed a little nutella and whipped cream together for the top, and then sprinkled on some marshmallows.
Yum! I've spent the majority of my day taking the SAT and doing my research paper, but a nice mug of this will always make the day better. What do you like to put on your hot chocolate?

Happy Halloween!!!
Hey everyone!
Okay, so I know this post is a little late.. I've been studying like crazy for my SATs! I'm taking the test this Saturday, so all of my time has been towards doing practice problems and flipping through the pages of my study guide. Anyways, the family went to a ward trunk-or-treat party on Wednesday, which is a tradition our ward has kept up for a long time now. We also had a chili cook-out. All together we stocked up on plenty of candy and had a lot of fun!
Here are a couple of pictures with everyone's halloween costumes:
Mary and Stephen looking cute as always:
Summer's rocking the Halloween colors.
I don'tknow if Stephen approves of the mohawk..
We also stopped by one of the rich neighborhoods in the area, and apparently it was a popular destination for a lot of people! There were tons of people - as in Disney World crowd size - and lines for every house. We asked someone in one of the houses who was giving out quarters, and he said that they bought $400 worth of candy... and they still ran out. I was helping my siblings most of the time, so I only actually asked for my own candy at one house. I guess they didn't think I really NEEDED any candy (I have put on a few pounds)... because I got a granola bar.
And you can't forget the best part about Halloween.. the sweets and treats.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Eat. Sleep. Cheer.
Here are a couple pics from the game on friday. I had two hours of free time before school, so I decided to use some of that time curling my hair. As you can see, I made it look nice and pretty right before the game! Of course, it had been raining all day, so with all of the sprinkling and Florida humidity, my hair turned into a huge frizzy mess even before the game started.. haha I guess that's just LIFE for ya
Here are a couple photos from last Sunday. We had a nice family day, enjoying each other's company and doing a couple of fun activities. Action shots of Mary explaining her process of using a blow pen to color her pictures:
What a cutie. But wait, Mary is sharing with Stephen? Awhhhh, how sweet! You gotta love these little guys.
And you can't forget David eating his tuna sandwich. He could be a model.
Yummm. I hope you guys don't mind SEEfood. lol
A couple of other family fun activities; a chess tournament, and Summer being crafty making herself a handy-dandy pot holder.
Any other family fun ideas out there?

I Scream for Ice Cream!
I knew it was going to be a great day once I heard the sound of the Ice Cream truck music as it came closer and closer to make a stop at our house. The Ice Cream truck can turn a frown upside down in any given situation!
Also... my friend and I got together today to work on a project for school. I brougt my new Canon EOS REBEL T2i, which later I'm realizing that probably wasn't the best idea, considering we spent the whole time taking pictures, unable to restrain our excitedness! I've been in love with this thing ever since I got it last night, and have already taken over 200 photos. I'm still getting used to the camera, but I have a couple of other pictures to share:
and of course, with that new fast shutter speed, taking jump shots are a MUST.
Can you tell how much I love this camera already?

Sunday Evening.
I had a great day at church today! There were many new faces, and we had a full house in my age group's class today. I'm also keeping in touch with a girl who visited from England last sunday named Emily. She's my new international pen pal! Haha. When we got home we decided to have kind of a fun photo shoot outside.
Also, Little Angel had three adorable Bichon babies a couple weeks ago, and we're sad to say that they're about ready to go to new homes!
It's hard to say.. which do you think is the cutest?

New school year!
Hello, junior year. :) The start of a brand new school year means a lot of things. New friends to make, new knowledge to gain, new experiences to have, new clubs and activities to be a part of.. but the best part is: an excuse to BUY NEW CLOTHES. Haha, only this year we have uniforms! I was so bummed when I heard the news.
Not super ecstatic about the whole uniform idea, but once I saw everyone at school wearing the same things I actually started to think it was kind of fun. I'm definitely ready for this year! Right now I just have two classes, but I'm going to start dual enrollment in a week or two.
I bought a new backpack from H&M, and its tribal print! I love it!!
What do you think?
